Several years ago, I became friends with a young lady who was enrolled in medical school at the time. During our conversation, the subject of tattoos was brought up, and she disclosed to me that she possessed a couple of tattoos, one of which was located on her back, and another was located on her ankle.
To my amazement, I had never seen them before, as you could have surmised from the previous sentence. I asked her about it, and she told me, “I got them there because I don’t want anyone to see them.” However, after hearing what she had to say, I was able to comprehend why she felt the need to conceal them. Even though tattoos are not as disapproved of as they were a few decades ago, she claims that there are still those who do not trust doctors who have visible tattoos.
This is because they believe that the designs violate the image of cleanliness that they are supposed to represent. He understood that she had to work hard to earn the trust of her patients, even if it meant making minor sacrifices like concealing the tattoos that she was so proud of. She loved her tattoos, but she also loved her career. She knew that she had to work hard to earn their trust.
After having a conversation with her for a time, I considered the following question: “But what if you get a design that is so beautiful and so elegant that not even people who have prejudices will think it is ugly or dirty?”
As a result of this circumstance, I realized that, even though tattoos are gaining more acceptance, there are still circumstances and settings in which they are considered to be unattractive or improper for particular professions. Nevertheless, I believe that there are designs that have the potential to disprove the misconceptions of those who believe that a tattoo cannot possibly be elegant, beautiful, and classy.
Some of the best examples of this are minimalist designs. They demonstrate that a powerful meaning can be conveyed through tattoos without the necessity for flashy or elaborate designs.
The natural lines of your body can be used to draw attention to them, or you can create subtle lines and dots that can serve as a beautiful adornment for your fingers, ankles, wrists, or ears. Both of these options are available to you. Even though they are not particularly flashy, people can’t help but gaze at them since they are so beautiful.
Watercolors and designs that use multiple colors are always useful, but if you are not into minimalistic or black-and-white styles, you should consider using them instead. Choosing an artist who is skilled in color work is essential if you want them to have a sleek and sophisticated appearance.
Additionally, if you obtain a design for your tattoo that makes the most of color, such as roses, lilies, stars, or moons, to name a few examples, it will look better. Because you are aware that the world is a vibrant place, you need to take that vitality with you wherever you go.
Afterward, I had a conversation with my friend and presented her with a few of these drawings. She got a helix tattoo, which I believe she did after finally deciding to give it a shot.
My understanding is that she has not encountered any difficulties with any of her patients. Indeed, she takes great pleasure in flaunting it, and she is even contemplating the possibility of adorning her arm with a second one.
