Relief authorities have reported that at least 27 people were murdered as a result of an Israeli bombing on a building in northern Gaza that had many stories. This comes at the same time as the Israeli military issued additional evacuation orders in the region, where it is preparing to launch a major operation.

An attack was carried out on the residence of the Mbahouh family in Jabalya on Thursday afternoon, as stated by Mahmoud Basal, who serves as the spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense Administration.

More than fifty individuals who had been relocated were being housed in the four-story structure, according to him, and some of them had been trapped in a warehouse that was located at the foot of the building.

There is an effort being made by CNN to contact the Israeli military on the target of the strike.

Because of the Israeli military assault in Gaza that has been going on since the strikes that were conducted by Hamas on October 7, entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, and vast portions of the strip have become uninhabitable.

This information comes from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, which reports that there have been at least 43,469 Palestinians dead and another 102,561 persons injured in Gaza.

On the other hand, human rights organizations have warned that Palestinians who are stranded in Jabalya, which is home to a huge refugee camp, could face “apocalyptic” difficulties to their ability to survive. At the beginning of October, the Israeli military increased the number of aerial and ground operations that it claims are directed at Hamas’ resurgent presence in the region.

According to reports, Israeli bombings and shelling have resulted in the deaths of at least thirty additional civilians in Gaza since Wednesday. Israeli forces carried out assaults in the Beit Lahiya region of northern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of the majority of those Palestinians.

According to journalists and medical personnel, an Israeli airstrike attacked a residential building in the Mashrou neighborhood of Beit Lahiya, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and the injuries of numerous more. These individuals also stated that a second strike in the same location resulted in the deaths of six additional individuals. They stated that a subsequent drone strike in Beit Lahiya resulted in the deaths of four other individuals.

As a further point of interest, local media have reported that Israeli artillery bombardment west of the Jabalya camp in northern Gaza had resulted in the deaths of six individuals.

Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, who is in charge of field hospitals in Gaza, stated on Thursday to CNN that the “health condition in the north is more than disastrous… Because three hospitals in the northern part of the Strip are now unavailable, we are unable to undertake any surgical procedures.

New evacuation orders

“Troops started to operate in the area of Beit Lahiya following prior intelligence information and a situational assessment indicating the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated. “Troops were deployed in response to the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure.”

During the last day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that they had killed around fifty terrorists in Jabalya, which is located in the northern part of Gaza.
In a statement that was published on X, Avichay Adraee, the Arabic spokeswoman for the IDF, demanded that inhabitants of numerous regions in northern Gaza leave. He stated that “once again, terrorist organizations are launching rocket attacks toward the state of Israel.”

According to what Adraee claimed, the “specified area has been warned multiple times in the past.” We would like to notify you that the location in question is a potentially hazardous conflict zone; thus, for your own protection, you should immediately travel south.

Moreover, in the central region of Gaza, Civil Defense said that it had discovered eight dead following an attack that took place in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday evening, as reported by a CNN stringer who was there at the site.

CNN was informed by a male witness named Salim Mohammed Alaa Abu Najeh that the residence of his sister was the target of the attack.

“They were in their residence when all of a sudden, a missile struck their structure… They do not have any affiliations with any organizations or anything else relevant to the topic. It was a hardship for these folks to construct this house since they were impoverished, defenseless, and living in tough conditions.

Abu Najeh stated that the building included a number of orphans who had been nurtured by their grandmother until they reached adulthood.

Additionally, Israeli operations are still going on in the southern region of Gaza. On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that a “number of armed terrorists” had been killed in the Rafah region.

As a consequence of an Israeli drone assault in the Al-Janina area, which is located east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, the Palestine Red Crescent said that paramedics had transported five dead to a hospital. It was reported by journalists that four of the victims were members of the same family.

In addition, they stated that a strike that was launched from an Israeli military quadcopter ultimately resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
