I make up a world for cats called Wonderfurryland. The characters are based on shape and form, with actual features like noses, mouths, and whiskers getting less attention. This abstraction lets people get to the heart of the cat's feelings and behavior. The commissioned pet portraits paid more attention to details like patterns and markings that make each pet unique, but the style of the photo is still very simple.

An example of this would be Kamwei's statement that "I made these cat characters long before I even had a cat." The fact that my style is so unique and gives my artwork a distinct personality is something that I am tremendously proud of. The combination of a limbo location (paper), a pen (micro pigment ink fineliner), and a line (perfect repetition of fine-lined fur) is what essentially brings my imagination to life.
