The next year, Klum made quite the entrance by riding into her party on a horse. For a bloody version of Lady Godiva, she wore a white bedazzled bodysuit with white lace-up boots, a long blonde wig, and a crystal headpiece.

Trading historical figures for cartoon characters, Klum channeled Betty Boop in this all-red costume that included a bodycon dress, gloves, and pumps. She completed the look with a dark curly wig, diamond jewelry, and a pair of extra-long fake lashes to give her eyes a cartoon-like appearance.

In 2012, Klum hosted her annual Halloween party in December due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. For this event, she donned a Cleopatra costume that included a two-tone gold cape, a crystal headpiece, and bedazzled makeup.

"It took maybe three hours to put my face on and, like, 10 minutes to get dressed," Klum told People. "The guy that designed the face made little pieces and put them on, and in between, he had to fill in the gaps, so it took a very long time."

Klum took over Times Square in this colorful butterfly costume, which featured Heidi-sized wings and holographic bug eyes. She also donned a sequined bodysuit, matching platform boots, and blue body paint to finish off the detailed look.

"Well someone very special to my heart called me a schmetterling [German for "butterfly"], so I wanted to be a butterfly this year," Klum told E! News. "They're just so pretty and colorful and I used to love painting butterflies."

Will the real Heidi please stand up? Klum portrayed another icon for Halloween in 2016 – herself! Along with five “clones” in prosthetics and matching looks, the group dressed up in nude bodysuits, matching thigh-high boots, and the model’s signature blonde tousled locks.

In a return to scary costumes, Klum attended her annual event as the werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video from 1983. Accompanied by an entourage of zombies, she sported the letterman jacket, cuffed jeans, and black loafers from the video.

“It takes a long time to lay the prosthetics but then putting it all together, it took seven hours,” Klum told People. “Michael Jackson was always such an icon and the ‘Thriller’ video is such an iconic video and I was like, ‘I have to redo that.’"

Klum completely transformed once again in 2018 when she walked the carpet at her party as Princess Fiona from Shrek. She fully committed to the look by covering herself in green prosthetics and arriving at the venue in an onion carriage.

In 2019, Klum enlisted her husband, Tom Kaulitz, for an extra bloody couple’s costume. The model dressed up as an alien zombie, while her husband complemented her look in a bloodied astronaut get-up. To celebrate her 20th annual bash, Klum got ready in front of a live audience at an Amazon Prime book store in N.Y.C.

Since Klum couldn’t host her annual party in 2020 due to the pandemic, she made a mini horror film with her family instead. Her kids starred as toilet paper mummies, and the model used body paint to camouflage into the wall and her bedspread to hide from them.

Klum made another mini horror film in 2021, but this time, she opted for a zombie mom costume. She channeled the undead with a missing thumb prosthetic and traditional zombie makeup, which she paired with a peach off-the-shoulder top and jeans.

For the return of her annual Halloween bash, Klum once again opted for an epic couple’s costume with Kaulitz. She dressed up as a worm (which took over 10 hours to complete) while her husband was a fisherman with a bloody eye. The model later changed into a sheer embellished bodysuit — but kept her worm face prosthetics on.
